Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy
Section Styles hero-image
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) can be used to alleviate symptoms of depression, anxiety, and to help facilitate a different relationship with traumatic experiences.
It can also be used for deeper psychological and spiritual exploration to gain a broader perspective on life and meaning. This approach takes advantage of ketamine’s ability to promote deeper states of self-awareness and accelerates its healing potential.
KAP treatments are different from IV Ketamine clinics in that we will collaborate to prepare for and understand the insights that typically arise during ketamine sessions. Additionally, KAP treatment emphasizes the importance of integration for optimal benefits. Integration helps you make sense of what you learn in ketamine sessions and apply these insights to make positive and lasting changes in your life.

Ketamine is a safe and effective medication that is commonly used for its anesthetic and analgesic properties. Since 1999, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has labeled ketamine a Schedule III non-narcotic controlled substance with accepted medical use and safety in the United States under medical supervision. In the context of mental health and psychotherapy treatments, ketamine is used as an “off-label” treatment for a range of mental conditions and disorders. “Off- label” ketamine is currently being used in the medical context to treat depression, alcohol and substance dependence, trauma, OCD, and several other psychiatric disorders

Ketamine infusions are medical procedures provided in a clinical setting and administered by medical personnel. Typically, a client is placed in a room, in a comfortable chair, and set up with an IV drip that a medical staff manages, but the client is left alone to journey and receive the medicine.
In KAP, I will be with you the entire time. We will have time for intention setting and meditiation/arrival prior to ingesting the ketamine and integration at the end. I will be with you the whole time. If you choose a journey session, I will be monitoring for safety, comfort, and holding space. If you are doing lower dose psycholitic session, we will be working therapeutically throughout the session.

Currently, the dosing sessions are offered in person only; however I am there are some models of KAP that permit at-home dosing. If this becomes available, I will let all KAP clients know.
We are able to conduct your prep and integration sessions online if you prefer.
Additionally, if you would like to work on integration only, I am able to work with you virtually.
